Collection: Jewelled Touch
I bring a jeweller’s touch to my paintings by a minute attention to detail, by selecting papers with particular grains, and sometimes even colours with natural pigments: isn’t it true that some gems are equally beautiful from every angle... Short of being able to turn the picture around, I bring instead a certain originality of colours which seem set on the paper with a jeweler’s preciosity and effervescence, almost evanescent – an air of naught – of feathers and crystals and gilded papers...
